PUBG Mobile, one of the most popular battle royale games on mobile devices, is set to receive a major update soon. The 3.1 update, which is expected to bring new features, modes, maps, and improvements, is scheduled to be released on March 21, 2024.

According to the official patch notes, the 3.1 update will introduce a new map called Karakin, which is a 2×2 km desert island with destructible environments and a dynamic zone. The map will also feature a new weapon, the Panzerfaust, which can fire rockets that can penetrate walls and vehicles.

The update will also add a new mode called Demolition Zone, which is a 20-minute match where players have to survive the bombardment of artillery shells that can destroy buildings and cover. The mode will be available on Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Karakin.

Another new mode that will be added is the Team Deathmatch 2.0, which is an improved version of the classic 4v4 mode. The mode will feature new maps, weapons, and mechanics, such as sliding, vaulting, and throwing grenades.

The update will also bring some changes and improvements to the existing modes, such as Classic Mode, Payload Mode, and Arena Mode. Some of the changes include:

  • Classic Mode: Added a new vehicle, the Motor Glider, which can fly in the air and carry two players. Added a new item, the Sticky Bomb, which can stick to walls and vehicles and explode after a few seconds. Added a new feature, the Thin Wall Bullet Penetration, which allows bullets to penetrate certain walls and objects.
  • Payload Mode: Added a new vehicle, the Armed UAZ, which is equipped with a machine gun and can carry four players. Added a new item, the Bomb Suit, which can reduce the damage from explosions and fire. Added a new feature, the Air Strike Beacon, which can call an air strike to a designated location.
  • Arena Mode: Added a new map, the Warehouse, which is a large indoor map with multiple floors and rooms. Added a new weapon, the MP5K, which is a submachine gun with high fire rate and low recoil.

The update will also include some bug fixes, performance optimizations, and UI enhancements. The update will require approximately 1.5 GB of storage space on Android devices and 1.8 GB on iOS devices. Players who update the game before March 31, 2024 will receive 2,888 BP, 100 AG, and a Cute Kitten Pan (3d) as rewards.
