The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024 exam dates have been announced.

June 18, 2024, Delhi: The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024 exam dates are out. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that they will conduct the Combined Geo-Scientist (Mains) Examination 2024 on June 22 and 23, 2024. The admit cards for the mains exam have already been released on June 14, which one can download from the official website www.upsc.gov.in

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 56 vacancies at the Geological Survey of India under the Ministry of Mines and the Central Ground Water Board under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources. The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2024 preliminary exam was held on February 18. 

 

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2024 selection process: 

The selection process comprises a Preliminary examination, a Main examination and a final document verification/interview stage. Candidates need to pass the Preliminary examination to be qualified to appear for the Mains examination, and then pass the Mains examination to appear for the final interview stage. 

 

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024: How to download admit card?

  • Visit the official website upsc.gov.in. 
  • On the homepage, click on the notification to download UPSC CGS Mains e-admit card. 
  • Click on the download link and then sign in with login credentials to proceed. 
  • Review the admit card details shown on the screen and then download a copy of it. 
  • Take a printout for future reference. 

 

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024: Important points 

  • Candidates are required to bring a physical copy of their e-Admit Card at their designated exam centres. 
  • They are also required to bring a valid photo ID card, the number of which is specified in the e-Admit Card, for each session of the examination. 
  • They are also required to bring two identical photographs (one for each session) in case the photograph on the e-admit card is not clear, blurred, or not present. 
  • Candidates are suggested to keep their admit cards safe till the announcement of the final results of the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains 2024 Examination. 
  • Candidates will not be allowed to appear at any other examination hall except the one mentioned in the e-Admit Card.
