New Rules for Road Plants

The PWD made these rules because people said the plants were not cared for well. Some trees fell during rains and hurt people. Now, workers must check trees and cut dead or sick branches. They also have to keep plants on road dividers at the right height. This is to make roads look nice and keep people safe. How Plants Will Be Cared For

The new rules say plants on road dividers must be cared for every 15 to 30 days. Bushes should be 1 to 1.2 meters tall. Trees on dividers should be 5 meters tall. Workers must clean, water, and add food to the soil for the plants. The PWD will hire more people to do this work. They will also get private companies to help.

The aim of SOP is to ensure plant health, public safety, aesthetic enhancement, and environmental sustainability through regular maintenance and timely plantation.

The PWD will start following these new rules to make Delhi roads safer and cleaner. Follow The Rising News for more verified updates.
