How MCD will choose feeding spots
Each ward will have 3 to 4 feeding spots. These spots will not be in busy areas like markets or road crossings. They will be away from where people live. Plans for aggressive dogs and sterilization
MCD is also working to make more space in dog sterilization centers. This is to keep aggressive dogs. They want to catch dogs that people complain about and keep them in shelters. MCD will build a new shelter in Dwarka. This shelter will be near a dog kennel and animal burial ground. The engineering team is making plans for this new shelter.
In each ward, we will earmark three to four feeding spots. With 250 wards, we will have around 1,000 feeding spots but the number will vary depending on area.
