New Rules for Festival Organizers
The government made it easier to get permits for events. All papers will now come from one office. The cost to use land went down from 20 rupees to 15 rupees per square meter. The deposit for electricity also went down by 25 percent. A team of six people will help solve any problems during festivals. The city will take care of cleaning, health, safety, and traffic.
Plans for Ramlila and Durga Puja
Ramlila shows will start on September 22 and end on October 2. About 600 Ramlilas happen in Delhi every year. The CM asked organizers to talk about the environment and the country in their shows. She also wants them to hold health camps and clean-up drives. One day of the festivals will honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is part of a two-week program called Seva Pakhwada.
