CHENNAI, August 14, 2024: The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has signed an MOU with Johnson Electric to introduce an innovative Mechatronics Diploma Program in Chennai. This three-year program is specifically designed to empower students from underprivileged backgrounds, providing them with the necessary skills and practical experience to excel in the competitive automotive industry.

Mechatronics Program Bridges Skills Gap

The newly established Mechatronics Diploma Program is a forward-thinking initiative aimed at bridging the skills gap in India’s automotive industry. Conducted in Chennai, the course offers a well-rounded curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience. This program focuses on the manufacturing of micromotors, a critical component for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and is tailored to meet the industry’s evolving needs.
