NEW DELHI, May 27: Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan handed over the Letter of Intent to University of Liverpool for establishing a campus in India, marking a significant milestone in international academic collaboration. Dr. Vineet Joshi, Interim Chair of UGC, and Secretary of Department of Higher Education were present during the ceremony. The University of Liverpool, recognized as one of UK’s premier academic institutions, will focus on STEMB fields as part of India’s global education expansion strategy. This development brings the total number of foreign universities expected to establish presence in India to 15 by this academic year, promoting research partnerships and educational exchange opportunities.
