IIT Bombay will close IIT JAM 2026 registration on October 20, 2025. Students can apply on the website jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The exam will be on February 15, 2026 in two sessions on computer.

How to Apply for IIT JAM 2026

Students need to register on JOAPS first. They must give their name, email, mobile number, and make a password. After that, they will get an Enrollment ID and OTP. Then they can fill the form, pay the fee, and submit. Girls, SC, ST, and PwD students pay 1000 rupees for one paper and 1350 for two. Others pay 2000 rupees for one and 2700 for two papers.

Important Dates and Exam Details

The exam has seven papers at UG level. Students can take one or two papers. There are three types of questions – MCQ, MSQ, and NAT. If students make a mistake in their form, they can change it by paying 300 rupees extra. They can also add or change a paper by November 10, 2025 for 300 rupees more.
