Residents face tough conditions
The water level has gone down a bit, but there is still a lot of mud and dirty water. This makes it hard for people to go back home. Indra Kumar, who lives there, said the problem might last for a week. He has rented a room nearby for now. Many people are staying in a school in Jharoda Kalan. Amit Kharkhari, a local leader, said about 550 people are living there. He thinks it will take 4-5 days for the water to go away fully.
Government working on fixing the problem
The wall of the drain that broke is being fixed. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta talked to Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini about this issue. They are trying to fix it quickly. More than 2000 people have been moved to safe places. The government has sent buses, rescue teams, and ambulances to help. Police and other officials are also there to help people.
Since the water level is not going down drastically, I have rented a room nearby; I will go back when things become normal.
