The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has set new dates for CA exams in Punjab and Jammu. The exams were cancelled earlier due to floods. The new dates are September 24 and 25 for Final and Intermediate exams.
Exam Details and Changes
The CA Final Group I paper on financial reporting will now be on September 24. The CA Intermediate Group I paper on advanced accounting will be on September 25. Both exams will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam centers remain the same. Old admit cards are still valid for these new dates. Other exam details stay the same.
Overseas Exam Centers and Timings
The ICAI CA exams will also happen in nine cities outside India. These include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, and Kathmandu. Each city has its own start time to match 2 pm Indian time. For example, exams in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Muscat will start at 12:30 pm local time. In Kathmandu, it will begin at 2:15 pm Nepal time. There would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination scheduled being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Holiday.
