The Buildathon is a big contest for school students. It wants students to think of new ideas and solve problems. Students will work on four main topics: Vocal for Local, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, and Samriddhi. The contest will help students learn to make new things. How will the Buildathon work?
Students can join the contest from September 23 to October 6. They need to sign up on the official website. From October 6 to 13, schools will help students make teams. On October 13, there will be a big event where all students will work on their ideas at the same time. Students have to send their final work by October 31. Experts will check all the work from November to December. In January 2026, they will announce the winners. More than 1,000 students will get prizes.
The largest-ever school hackathon, Viksit Bharat Buildathon, will strengthen grassroots innovation by encouraging students to ideate and build products on four key themes.
