Delhi saw clear skies and higher temperatures on Tuesday after a week of heavy rains. The maximum temperature was 35.4 degrees Celsius, which is 1.9 degrees above normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says this weather will continue for the week.
Weather Forecast for the Week
The weather will stay mostly clear this week. There will be no big rains. The wind direction will change in the next few days. This will make the air less humid. The highest temperature may go up to 36 degrees Celsius by Friday. The lowest temperature will be between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius. Mahesh Palawat from Skymet says the temperature might go up a bit in the coming days.
Air Quality Turns Moderate
The air quality in Delhi got a bit worse on Tuesday. It changed from satisfactory to moderate. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was 105. This happened after 11 days of good air quality. The Air Quality Early Warning System says the air will stay in the moderate category for the next few days. This means the air is not very clean, but it is not too bad either.
Clear weather is expected to continue throughout the week for the most part, with no forecast of any significant rain.
