Larger Plans for Munak Canal

This project is part of a bigger plan to build a 20 km elevated corridor from Bawana to Inderlok along the canal. The government also wants to make recreational spaces and non-motorised lanes near the water. They will fence the canal and fix its lining to stop water loss. The canal brings a lot of Delhi's water supply from Haryana.

The government has decided to rejuvenate this space for public utility and it will be developed as a ghat with landscaping and steps leading to water channel.

The government has invited bids for the project and plans to complete it in the next four months. Follow The Rising News for more verified updates.
