Two men were shot dead by unknown attackers in Pratap Nagar, northeast Delhi on Friday evening. Police think the killings happened because of personal fights between the victims and the attackers.
Details of the Shooting
The two men killed were Sudhir Kumar, 35, and Radhey Prajapati, 30. They were sitting outside a parking lot when 5 or 6 men came in two vehicles. The attackers fired many times at Sudhir and Radhey. Both men were taken to GTB Hospital but they died during treatment. Police got information about the shooting around 7:15 pm. They have started an investigation and are looking for the killers.
Background of the Conflict
Sudhir's brother Ajay said the victims had been fighting with the attackers for over a week. The fight started because of some bad words said about 8 days ago. Both sides had beaten each other before. Police had even held Sudhir and Radhey for some time because of these fights. A relative said that Sudhir and Radhey had been in jail for 10 years for a murder in 2015. They came out of jail only 6 months ago.
