Weak Structure and Rain Caused Collapse
The family had recently built a washroom on the first floor. This new construction made the old ledge weak. Heavy rains in the past week made it even weaker. The ledge could not hold the weight of the new washroom. Police think these reasons caused the ledge to fall. The boy was playing with a toy when the ledge fell on him. His mother and neighbors pulled him out, but he had bad head injuries.

The boy was taken to Satyawadi Raja Hospital in Narela. Doctors said he was dead when he arrived. Police are now looking into how this happened. They might take action against the family for not being careful. The family has lived in the house for more than 10 years. They had just started fixing up the house.
