Recent Teacher Eligibility Test Results
The West Bengal Board of Primary Education shared the results of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2023 on September 24. Out of 2,73,147 people who took the test, only 6,754 passed. This means only about 2 out of every 100 test-takers qualified. Some people who passed the 2022 TET are still waiting for interview calls. They say there are 50,000 empty teacher posts in primary and upper primary schools. But the education minister does not agree with this number.
