Details of the Arrest and Investigation

Khalid was a candidate in the exam held by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission. He allegedly took photos of three question paper pages during the test. His sister Sabia was also arrested earlier. Police say Sabia sent the leaked questions to an assistant professor named Suman to get answers. The case was first reported in Dehradun, so Dehradun police will now question Khalid.

Government Response and Ongoing Probe

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said cheaters in exams will be punished. Police are checking how the paper was leaked even though phone jammers were used in exam centers. They have questioned the exam center staff and are looking into the role of Khalid's other sister, Hina. A special team is investigating the case. The exam commission has asked for a full probe into how the paper was leaked. Sabia sent the question paper photo to Suman and obtained the answers from her, with the intention of helping Khalid cheat in the exam. Therefore, considering her role in the case, she has been arrested.
