UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave scholarships to over 10 lakh students in Lucknow on Friday. He gave 297 crore rupees to help students from poor families and backward groups continue their studies.

More Students Getting Help for School

CM Adityanath said more students are getting scholarships now. In 2016, only 46 lakh students got help. Now 62 lakh students get scholarships. The government wants to make sure no student from poor or backward groups stops studying because of money problems. Education is Important for Country

The CM said education is very important to make the country better. He talked about Dr. Ambedkar who said education helps people stand on their own feet and do good for society. The government has many programs to help honest and deserving students. One program called Abhyudaya Coaching gives free classes in every district. The CM said these programs have helped many people come out of poverty in UP and India.
