The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has warned people not to share or talk about exam papers. This is because of a new law called the Public Examinations Act, 2024. The SSC said some people and social media sites have been doing this, which is now against the law.

What the new law says

The new law says it is wrong to leak, share, or have exam papers without permission. If someone does this, they can go to jail for 3 to 5 years. They may also have to pay a fine of up to 10 lakh rupees. Big companies that do this may have to pay up to 1 crore rupees. The law is very strict. If someone breaks this law, they can be arrested right away. They cannot get out of jail easily.

SSC asks people to follow the law

They say if anyone does this, they will be punished under the new law. The SSC wants everyone to help keep exams fair. They ask people not to share or look at exam papers that are not allowed. This warning comes after some people said there were problems with how some government job exams were done on computers.
