New law bans sharing exam papers

The SSC said some people talk about exam questions on social media. This is now against the law. The new Public Examinations Act of 2024 makes it illegal. Companies that help share exam papers can be fined up to 1 crore rupees. They may also not be allowed to take part in future exams. People who do this as a big crime can go to jail for 5 to 10 years.

The SSC told all people who make content, social media sites, and exam takers not to share exam papers. If they do, they will be punished under the new law. SSC warned all content creators, social media platforms, and individuals are not to indulge in the activities mentioned above as any violation will invite strict penal action under the provisions of the PEA Act, 2024, in addition to other applicable laws.
