The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released city intimation slips for candidates affected during the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination held from September 12 to 26, 2025. The re-exam for these candidates is set for October 14, 2025, due to the Mumbai fire incident and technical issues at some centers.

How to Check Eligibility and Download Intimation Slip

Candidates can check if they are eligible to reappear by logging into the official SSC website. The SSC will inform shortlisted candidates about the re-exam through SMS and email. To download the intimation slip, candidates must visit ssc.gov.in, click on Login, enter their registration number and password, and then click on the city intimation slip link. The slip should be saved for future use.

Reasons for Re-exam and Admit Card Details

The SSC received over 18,000 feedback submissions about technical problems at various exam centers. Based on this, they decided to reschedule exams for genuine cases. Candidates involved in cheating have been stopped from taking the exam again. Only those who passed checks can reappear. The admit card for the re-exam will be ready to download from October 9, 2025 through the candidate login on the SSC website.

The SSC CGL 2025 examination had 28 lakh registrations and 13.5 lakh candidates appearances across 255 centres in 126 cities over 45 shifts across 15 days.
