Two young Rubiks Cube champions from India are making waves in the speedcubing world. Medhansh Seth from Noida and Ammar Shahid from Uttar Pradesh have mastered the art of solving the colorful puzzle in mere seconds.

Medhansh Seth – A Cubing Prodigy

Medhansh Seth started cubing at age 9. Now 17, he has over 150 podium finishes. He is a four-time Delhi State Champion. Medhansh practices 13-14 hours a day. This helped him solve the cube in just 10 seconds. His spatial skills are very good due to cubing. Medhansh now teaches cubing through his company AceCubing. Medhansh Seth started cubing at age 9. Ammar Shahid is a 21-year-old law student. He learned cubing from YouTube videos. It took him a month to solve the cube at first. Now he can do it in under 10 seconds. Ammar has won silver and bronze medals in contests. He says practice and look-ahead skills are key. Ammar feels cubing needs more exposure to grow as a sport in India.
