On September 8, government schools will be closed for students. Teachers will come to clean schools with help from local bodies. They will check school buildings for any problems. From September 9, all schools will open as usual. Private schools must make sure their buildings are safe before opening. If any school is still affected by floods, the local deputy commissioner will decide if it should stay closed.
