The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for UGC NET December 2025 exam applicants. Candidates are urged to ensure their Aadhaar Card and Unique Disability ID (UDID) details are accurate before applying through the official website from October 7 to November 7.

Exam Details and Application Process

The UGC NET December 2025 exam will be held in December 2025 and January 2026 for 85 subjects. It will determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor roles, and PhD admissions in Indian universities. Candidates can apply on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Important Dates and Document Requirements

The application deadline is November 7, 2025. A correction window will open from November 10 to 12, 2025. NTA advises candidates to update their Aadhaar Card with correct name, birth date, photo, address, and fathers name. Disabled candidates must ensure their UDID Card is valid and renewed. Exam city information and admit card release dates will be announced later on the NTA website.

To streamline the process for UGC NET December 2025, all eligible aspirants are advised that the following documents are updated when applying for the examination, in order to avoid any inconvenience to the candidate as also to facilitate the registration process and the processing of their JRF.
