Key Promises in NSUI Manifesto

NSUI made many big promises in its manifesto. They want to stop the National Education Policy 2020. They also promise up to 12 days of leave for women during their periods each semester. The group wants to make exams more open to stop cheating. They also want to make classrooms better, improve hostels, and give more scholarships. NSUI also promises to make it easier for students to travel.

First Woman Presidential Candidate in 17 Years

NSUI picked Joslyn Nandita Choudhary as their candidate for president. She is 23 years old and studies Buddhist Studies. This is special because NSUI has not chosen a woman for this top job in 17 years. NSUI also made a separate manifesto just for women. This promises things like machines for sanitary pads and more help to stop harassment of women.
