A two-day workshop on National Education Policy 2020 started at Tripura University on Saturday. The event was opened by Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu at the MBB Auditorium.

Workshop Details and Key Attendees

The Department of Sanskrit at Tripura University set up the workshop with help from All India Central University Works. Tripura University Vice Chancellor Prof. Shaymal Das is leading the event. Kishore Barman from the Tripura Government Higher Education Ministry came as a special guest. Prof. Rajsharan Shahi from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University gave the main speech. Debraj Panigrahi, who heads the Sanskrit Department at Tripura University, is running the workshop.

Goals of the NEP 2020 Workshop

The two-day workshop aims to talk about different parts of the National Education Policy 2020. People at the event will discuss how to use this policy in colleges and universities. The workshop will help teachers and staff learn about the new education rules. It will also give them a chance to share ideas on how to make the policy work well in Tripura's schools and colleges.
