The NEET PG Counselling 2025 for postgraduate medical courses is expected to start in mid-October 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the process for 50% All India Quota seats, while state authorities will handle the remaining 50%.

Counselling Schedule and Registration

The official schedule is not yet out. Students should check the MCC website often for updates. When ready, the schedule will be in the PG Medical Counselling section. The process includes registration, fee payment, choice filling, and seat allotment. Candidates need to keep important documents like NEET PG admit card, rank letter, and identity proof ready. The registration fee varies based on the type of institute chosen.

Eligibility and Reservation

To join NEET PG Counselling, students must have passed MBBS and completed internship by the given date. They should also have a valid NEET PG score. The government follows reservation rules for different groups. There are seats for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PWD candidates. Students need to give proper documents to claim these benefits. The counselling has four main rounds – Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
