Odisha Becoming Semiconductor Hub

Odisha recently got approval for two big semiconductor projects. One is for making special chips called Silicon Carbide. The other is for advanced chip packaging. The new NaMo lab will work with these projects. It will do research to help the chip industry in India grow faster. The lab will cost Rs 4.6 crore for machines and Rs 35 lakh for computer programs.

I am confident that the NaMo Semiconductor Laboratory will inspire our youth, accelerate research, and further strengthen Odisha's position on the national and global semiconductor map, while advancing Make in India and Design in India initiatives.

The lab is expected to start operations soon after equipment installation. Follow The Rising News for more verified updates.
