The National Centre for Good Governance started a special training program for 30 mid-career civil servants from Mauritius on 8th September 2025. The two-week program is happening in Mussoorie and New Delhi until 19th September 2025.
Program Details and Participants
The program has 30 officials from 14 key ministries of Mauritius. These include Health, Labour, Education and the PM Office. Dr. Surendra Kumar Bagde, the head of NCGG, started the program. He talked about how India and Mauritius are working together more. The program will teach about many topics like digital healthcare, smart cities, and how the government works in India.
Activities and Visits Planned
The civil servants will learn in classes and also visit important places. They will go to Anubhuti Kendra to learn about some government plans. They will also visit a farm research center and meet district officers. The group will see how local government works. At the end, they will visit the Taj Mahal in Agra. This program is part of a plan to train 500 Mauritius civil servants in India over 5 years.
