The National Testing Agency will conduct JEE Main 2026 in January and April. Exam centers will be available across India. Students must meet eligibility criteria and aim for high scores to secure admission in top engineering colleges.
Exam Centers and Eligibility
JEE Main 2026 exam centers will be in all major states and cities. Students can pick up to four center choices when applying. To be eligible, candidates should pass Class 12 in 2024, 2025, or appear in 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. There is no age limit. The application form will open in November 2025 for the January 2026 session.
Expected Cut-offs and Preparation Tips
The expected cut-off for General category is 90-92 percentile. For OBC-NCL it is 75-78, SC 60-65, and ST 55-60 percentile. These may change based on exam difficulty. To prepare well, students should make a study plan, practice mock tests, revise NCERT books, and manage time. The syllabus covers Class 11 and 12 topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
