The National Testing Agency has announced key details for JEE Main 2026. The exam will be held in two sessions – March 2026 and May 2026. Students who passed or are appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics can apply.
Important Dates and Eligibility
The JEE Main 2026 application form will open in January 2026. Students must check the NTA website for exact dates. Those who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 can apply. There is no age limit for SC, ST and PwD students. Candidates can attempt JEE Main for three years after Class 12. In 2026, students can appear in one or both sessions.
Application Process and Exam Pattern
Students can apply online on the NTA website. They need to register, fill details, upload documents and pay fees. The exam will be computer-based, except the drawing part for B.Arch. Admit cards will be available about one week before the exam. Students can download it using their application number and birth date.
