The National Testing Agency has announced details for JEE Main 2026, India's big engineering entrance exam. The test will happen in March and May 2026 for students who want to join top colleges like NITs and IIITs.
Important Dates and Eligibility
Students should mark these dates: Application forms will come out in January 2026. The first exam will be in March 2026 and the second in May 2026. Students who passed or are in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths can apply. There is no age limit for SC, ST, and disabled students. Students can try JEE Main for three years after Class 12.
How to Apply and Get Admit Card
To apply, students must go to the NTA website. They need to sign up, fill in details, upload documents, and pay a fee. The admit card, which lets students enter the exam hall, will come out one week before the exam. Students can download it using their application number and birth date.
