A new report shows Indian office workers care more about tech and focus areas than noise. The Unispace Global Workplace Insights 2025-26 report found that 98% of Indian workers think offices will still be needed by 2030.

Indian workplace priorities differ from global trends

Most workers around the world say noise is the biggest problem at work. But in India, workers care more about having good tech and quiet places to focus. The report says Indian offices need to improve their tech and create better spaces for people to work without distractions. Indian workers spend less time in the office than people in other countries. They like to work in meeting rooms and social areas instead of at desks.

Office attendance dropping but still important

People are going to the office less often now. In 2024, workers went to the office about 4 days a week. Now it is only 3 days. By 2030, it might be less than 3 days. But offices are still important. In India, workers go to the office to use tools, learn from others, and meet people. In other countries, working together is the main reason people go to the office. Some companies, especially in the US, are asking workers to come in every day.

Companies should focus on making offices more comfortable and giving workers control over their work environment. Follow The Rising News for more verified updates.
