IIT Madras is working with Guidance Tamil Nadu to make INNOVATION-TN. This is a new dashboard that shows information about startups in Tamil Nadu. It will help investors, companies, and startup founders see what is happening with startups in the state.
What INNOVATION-TN Does
INNOVATION-TN gives a full picture of startups in Tamil Nadu. It shows how many startups there are and what they do. The dashboard also tells about the money these startups have got. It helps people find the right startups to work with or invest in. This tool can save time for startup founders and big companies. It can also help the government make better plans for startups.
Startups in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu has about 19,000 startups as of August 2025. These startups have made more than 2.2 lakh jobs. They have also got more than 120,000 crore rupees in money. The state has 228 places that help startups grow. This is the most in any state in India. Tamil Nadu wants to be the top state for new ideas and making things. The government wants to help startups in all parts of the state, not just big cities.
