The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the exam schedule for CA January 2026. The dates cover Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams. Students can submit online applications from November 3 to November 16 without late fees.
Exam Dates and Details
The CA Foundation exams will be on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026. Papers 1 and 2 will be three hours long, while papers 3 and 4 will be two hours. CA Intermediate Group 1 exams are set for January 6, 8, and 10. Group 2 exams will be on January 12, 15, and 17. The CA Final exams will happen over six days. Group 1 is on January 5, 7, and 9, while Group 2 is on January 11, 13, and 16. No exam is planned for January 14 due to festivals.
Application Process and Overseas Exams
Students must apply online through the Self Service Portal at eservices.icai.org. They need to pay the exam fee too. The exams will also be held in nine overseas cities. These include Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, and Kathmandu. Students can choose English or Hindi for most exams. But some special exams will be in English only. These include the International Taxation Test and Insurance and Risk Management Exam.
There will not be any advance reading time in paper 3 and paper 4 of ICAI CA foundation.
