Low turnout on first day of admissions

The university invited 876 students from reserved categories for admission on Tuesday. However, only 73 seats were taken up. About 7,000 seats are still empty across different groups. This includes around 2,000 seats for students with disabilities. The mop-up round is using Class 12 marks for admission instead of CUET scores. On Wednesday, about 2,600 general and OBC students will be called for BA Honours admissions. BCom and Economics admissions will happen on Thursday. Science subjects will be dealt with on the next day. The physical mop-up round will end on September 29. Any seats left empty after this date will stay unfilled for this session.
