The Delhi government has made new rules for resource centers for children with disabilities. These centers must now have CCTV cameras and be open six days a week from 9 am to 5 pm. The rules aim to help these centers work better.
New Centers to Follow Standard Rules
The government opened 10 new resource centers recently. These centers help children with disabilities in Delhi schools. Now, all these centers must follow the same rules. The rules say how the centers should work and how different people should help each other. Teachers, center staff, and doctors all need to work together. Children must come with a teacher for their sessions. Each session will be 45 minutes long.
Services and Safety Measures
The centers will have different kinds of doctors to help children. There will be doctors for body movement, speaking, and mental health. Schools must check that children are safe at the centers. The centers must be clean and well-maintained. If anyone does not follow the safety rules, they will be in trouble. The government wants to make sure all children are safe and get good help at these centers.
All instructions mentioned in the SOP shall be implemented in true letter and spirit
