Concerns About NHAIs Hiring Process
\n
NHAI said on August 11 that it wants to hire 44 young lawyers based on CLAT-PG scores from 2022 and later. The person who filed the case says this is not fair. He thinks it is wrong to only look at CLAT-PG scores when hiring. He also says it is not right to only hire people who took the CLAT-PG test in 2022 or after. This leaves out many good lawyers who did not take this test. The court said that CLAT-PG is meant to check if students are ready for more studies, not for jobs.

There does not appear to be any reasonable or rational nexus between the objects sought to be achieved and the basis of preparation of merit for such selection
