The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started online registration for the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam. Candidates can apply on csirnet.nta.nic.in until October 24 for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professorship, and PhD admissions in science fields.
Important Dates and Exam Details
The last date to pay the application fee is October 25. Candidates can correct mistakes in their forms until October 29. The exam will last 180 minutes and happen in two shifts on one day. NTA will give out city information slips and admit cards a few days before the test. The exam checks knowledge in science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Geology.
Eligibility and How to Apply
To apply, candidates need a Masters degree with at least 55% marks. Final year students can also apply. The age limit is 30 years for JRF, but there is no age limit for Assistant Professor and PhD roles. To apply, go to csirnet.nta.nic.in and click New Registration. Fill in your details, upload documents, and pay the fee online. Each person can apply for only one subject. Applying for more than one subject will cancel the application.
