The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reopened the List of Candidates (LOC) submission portal for schools. This is for registering students for Class 10 and 12 board exams in the 2025-26 academic year. The decision came after many schools did not submit details on time.

New Deadlines for LOC Submission

Schools can now submit the LOC with late fees. The deadline for challan payments is October 8, 2025, at 11:59 pm. For other payment modes like Internet banking, UPI, and cards, the deadline is October 11, 2025, at 11:59 pm. CBSE said many schools did not upload data by the earlier deadlines of September 22 and 30. The portal closed on September 30 but reopened on October 3 for late submissions.

Consequences of Missing Deadline

CBSE warned that no submissions will be accepted after October 11. Schools that fail to submit LOCs by the final deadline will face consequences. This includes their students not being able to appear for the 2026 Board Exams. CBSE Joint Secretary Satpal Kaur signed the circular with these details. The board said schools had been given many reminders and enough time to submit the LOC.

All Principals who have still not submitted their LOC are therefore directed to ensure that the LOC for their respective schools is completed and submitted within the prescribed timeframe with late fees.
