CBSE Releases Tentative Class 10 and 12 Board Exam Dates for 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative dates for Class 10 and 12 board exams in. The exams are set to begin on February 17,, with Class 12 exams ending on April 9 and Class 10 exams concluding on March 9.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative dates for Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2026. The exams are set to begin on February 17, 2026, with Class 12 exams ending on April 9 and Class 10 exams concluding on March 9.

Exam Schedule and Timings

Most exams will be from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Some subjects will have a 2-hour exam from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The first exam on February 17 is for Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, and Shorthand. Physics exam is on February 20, Chemistry on February 28, and Maths on March 9. Economics is set for March 18, Political Science on March 23, and Biology on March 27.

Exam Participation and Board's Aim

About 45 lakh students from India and 26 other countries will take the exams in 204 subjects. CBSE shared the dates early to help students make good study plans.
