New Delhi, 15 Oct 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened a correction window for List of Candidates (LOC) data for Classes 10 and 12. The window is open from October 13 to October 27 for the 2025-26 academic year exams.

CBSE Urges Verification of Student Details

CBSE has asked schools, parents, and students to check and fix any mistakes in the LOC data. This follows earlier notices from August and September 2025. CBSE gives out a data slip to students and parents. They can use this to check important details like name, parents names, birth date, and subjects. The board wants to make sure all info is correct before the exams.

Key Points for Parents to Check

CBSE has told parents to make sure some things are correct. The students full name, birth date, and parents names should be written in full, not short form. The surname must be included, especially for students who want to study in other countries. The birth date should match the passport if the student has one. Parents must check that subjects are filled in carefully. No changes will be allowed after October 27.
