Family Asks for Forgiveness
Rizvi's family is very upset. They say he made a mistake but is not a criminal. His aunt asked PM Modi to forgive him. The family is poor and runs a tire repair shop. They have no links to any political party. Rizvi's mother got sick after his arrest and had to go to the hospital. The police say Rizvi has no past criminal record.
We earnestly appeal to PM Modi to forgive our child. He should not have used those words. We apologise on his behalf.
