Details of the Student Credit Card Scheme

The Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme was launched on October 2, 2016. It is part of the Saat Nischay Yojana. The scheme helps students who have passed class 12 and want to study further. Earlier, loans up to Rs 4 lakh were given at 4% interest for general applicants. Female, differently-abled, and transgender applicants got loans at 1% interest.
