A team from Aligarh Muslim University has got a patent for an Oral Cancer Screening Thermal Scanner. The device helps find signs of mouth cancer early by checking temperature changes in the mouth.
How the Scanner Works
The scanner has a special camera that can see heat. It also has a small computer and a system to look at the information quickly. The device can spot areas in the mouth that are warmer than normal. These warm spots might show early signs of cancer. The scanner is small, so doctors can use it in clinics or take it to villages for check-ups.
