Big companies in India are starting AI training programs. EY and KNOLSKAPE have launched AI Academies to teach workers how to use AI in their jobs. This is happening because India needs many more AI experts in the coming years.
EY Trains Thousands in AI Skills
EY started an AI Academy in July. It first trained 44,000 of its own workers. Now EY is helping other companies learn AI too. They work with phone, bank, and other big companies. EY teaches workers at all levels how to use AI in their daily work. The training can last from two days to many weeks. It depends on the job.
More Companies Join AI Training Efforts
KNOLSKAPE also started an AI Academy. It uses games to teach AI skills. IIM Kozhikode and Simplilearn are running a course on AI for making new products. These programs help workers learn AI step by step. The government says India will need one million AI workers by 2026. Right now, there are only 416,000 AI workers in India. That means India needs 213,000 more AI experts soon. The View From India Looking at World Affairs from the Indian perspective.
