IIT Guwahati will close GATE 2026 registration on October 6, 2025. Students can still apply with a late fee until October 9, 2025 on the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

Application Fees and Exam Dates

The fee for female, SC, ST, and PwD students is 1000 rupees per test paper. Other students, including foreign students, must pay 2000 rupees per paper. The fee can be paid online only. How to Apply for GATE 2026

Students can apply by going to gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Click on the link to register for GATE 2026. Fill in your details to make an account. Then fill the form and pay the fee. After submitting, download and print the form for your records. Students need to upload scanned copies of their photo ID, category certificate if applicable, and other relevant documents.
