A group of government teachers has said the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University spent too much money on a party. They say the university used about 40 lakh rupees for its birthday celebration. This happened even though many schools in Delhi need repairs.

Teachers Unhappy with University Spending

The teachers group is called Gazetted Officers Forum for Technical Education. They say the university had a big party that lasted longer than planned. The teachers are not happy because many schools in Delhi have problems. Some schools have leaking roofs. Others do not have clean water or good toilets. The teachers think the university should not spend so much on parties when schools need help.

University Says Claims are Not True

The head of the university, Prof Ashok Kumar Nagawat, says the teachers group is wrong. He says the university follows all the rules about money. He also says each school gets enough money. The university has asked for 60 to 70 crore rupees to make schools better by 2026. The Delhi government has said yes to this plan.
