Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will soon ask its members for ideas to set up big research facilities. This move aims to make BHU's research better and stronger. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi shared this news at the Geology Day event on Monday.

New Research Facilities Plan

BHU wants to improve its research. They will look at ideas that cost more than 25 lakh rupees. The Vice-Chancellor asked teachers to think of new ideas that can change things. He said BHU will give money for good ideas. These ideas can be for science projects, new labs, or special machines. The goal is to help BHU do better research.

Geology Day Celebration

The Geology Department at BHU is now 103 years old. Prof. KK Mathur started this department long ago. He did great work when India was not free and things were hard. At the event, Prof. M. Sarin gave a talk about climate change. He said humans are causing the Earth to get warmer. He asked young scientists to study this problem.
