Important Dates and Exam Details
The CAT 2025 registration started on August 1. It was first set to close on September 13 but got a one-week extension. The exam will happen on November 30 in three sessions. It will last 120 minutes. CAT 2025 will take place in about 170 cities. Candidates must pick five test cities when they apply. The admit cards will be ready to download from November 5.
Application Fees and Sections Tested
The registration fee is Rs 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. For all others, it is Rs 2,600. CAT tests three main areas: verbal ability and reading, math skills, and data interpretation with logical reasoning. Each IIM has its own way of choosing candidates after the CAT.
